5 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech

1^st day: Marrakech – Gorges Dades.

Today at 8:00 a.m., our agent picks you up from the airport or your Hotel in Marrakech, with him you are going to head towards the Dades Gorges. Passing through Tizi-n-Tishka in the high Atlas Mountains, then you will visit the UNESCO World heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which has also been the backdrop for many films like Gladiator and Alexander. After lunch, you enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and historical monuments of Taourirt Kasbah in Ourzazate, Skoura and the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. Moreover you will pass through the Berber villages of El Kelaa des M'Gouna, Boumalene and vally Dades where you will spend the night.

2^nd day: Gorges Dades– Todra Gorges –Merzouga Desert.

After breakfast, you will depart to Todra Gorges, through the vast palm grove of Tinghir, where agriculture stands out, date palms, crafts..Later we will arrive at the gorge. Here, you can see the spectacular landscapes that. On your way, you will have the chance to see many oases such as the oasis of Tinjdad. You will continue your tour passing through the little Berber villages of Mellab and Touroug. Arrive to Rissani town, enjoying the green oasis of palm trees of Ziz –Tafilalet Then you will trend to Merzouga, where you will leave your heavy luggage at the hotel in the late afternoon, for going to the camp in the desert by camels. If you are interested in photography this is a one splendid chance for you to excel your skills with sunset over dunes. Once in there, you have dinner and spend a night in the tent.

3^rd day: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert Dunes tour.

Today, you should wake up early to sight the sunrise. After breakfast, you will go all the way round the dunes via the oasis of Merzouga, and you will visit a nomad family by in 4×4 car. You will eat under the shade of a tree, and see how the Berber pizza is made and will taste it. After lunch, also you will visit the town of Khamlia (village of the blacks) MIFISS mines, desert places and rest for a while and later you will make a route through the desert.

 You will return to the camp, have dinner, we’ll play music and spend the night in the tent (luxury camp).

4^th day: Merzouga– rissani – Ouarzazate.

Before sunrise, you should wake up to climb the sand dunes which are around the camp for fantastic photo opportunities. Then you will make the way back to the hotel for -shower- breakfast before continuing road with your driver to Ouarzazate, passing through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. You will spend the night in Ouarzazate.

5^th day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech.

After breakfast, you will set off for Marrakech, passing through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Your trip will continue through the majestic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, at the end of the day, you will arrive at your accommodation in Marrakech.  The end five days tour From Marrakech towards Merzouga Desert and coming back.
