7-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech
7 days in Morocco itinerary from Casablanca
Day 1: Arrival to Casablanca.
Today, you’ll arrive in Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco. Our driver picks you up from the airport to your accommodation. You will explore the city's highlights, such as Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche promenade.
Tonight stay in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca- Rabat- Meknes- Fes.
Depart from Casablanca and head towards Fes. En route,
you'll pass the capital of Morocco, Rabat and explore its highlights, including the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Then, the city of Meknes, another imperial city known for its impressive architecture and historic sites.
Visit the Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, arrive in Fes, one of the oldest imperial cities “Spiritual city” in Morocco.You will explore the labyrinthine streets of the medina, visit the famous tanneries, and discover the historic sites.
Day 3: Fes –Ifrane – Cedars forest- Ziz Valley- Merzouga.
Depart from Fes and start your journey towards the Merzouga Desert. Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes, including the city of Ifrane, often called “the Switzeland of Morocco,” known for its alpine-style architecture houses. Next, visit the Cedars forest of Azrou where the Barbary monkeys live (you can feed them). Afterward, you will continue to Midelt where you’ll have free time for lunch. Then, explore the Middle Atlas Mountains pass and Ziz Valley as you head towards the desert.
Arrive in Merzouga, a village on the edge of the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, experience a camel trek into the desert and witness the breathtaking sunset over the dunes.
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and spend the night in a desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga– Todgha Gorge – Boumalen Dades- Ouarzazate.
You should wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. After that, return to Merzouga village by camel and continue your journey to Ouarzazate. Along the way, you will pass through the stunning Todra Gorge and Dades Valley. Then, Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco," Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate-Marrakech.
Depart from Ouarzazate for visiting the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After there, head to Marrakech and explore the vibrant city of Marrakech, known for its bustling souks, historic landmarks, and lively atmosphere.
Visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. And enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine and immerse yourself in the city's vibrant nightlife.
Day 6: Marrakech sightseeing.
Spend the day exploring Marrakech in more detail. You can visit the beautiful Majorelle Garden, the Saadian Tombs, and the Museum of Marrakech. Strolling the city's maze-like streets and shop for souvenirs also, relax in a traditional hammam or indulge in a spa treatment. Tonight stay in Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech-Transfer to the airport.
Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time in Marrakech.
Visit any remaining attractions or markets you missed.
Transfer to the airport for your departure or continue your journey in Morocco.
