This is itinerary for the  4 days Rabat desert tour:

1^st Day: Rabat – Meknes – Ifrane – Midelt.

On your first day, we’ll drive from Rabat to Meknes to explore the medina, then, we will continue to “the switzerland of Morocco,”  Ifrane city. Afterward, we will go to the cedar forest of Azrou to feed the monkeys. Lunch will be served depending on the time and your preference. Later, we will drive to Midelt, where we’ll spend the first night; Bed, dinner and breakfast are included.

2^nd Day: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert. 

The departure today will be after breakfast from your Riad/Hotel. The trip from midelt to Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes will take around 4 hours, during which we will have the opportunity to see the Atlas Mountains and pass through some villages. We’ll Then continue our journey through the Ziz valley, which offers breathtaking views of the palm trees.

Lunch will be served in Rissani, where you can enjoy tasting the Berber Pizza cooked in the traditional oven. Afterward, we will continue driving to Merzouga, passing through a rocky desert landscape. Once we arrive, we will Meet our camel caravan, and embark on a camel ride through the mesmerizing color-changing sand dunes with the beautiful sunset on the horizon as a backdrop. Before darkness falls, we reach our Sahara desert camps.

Take some time to admire the majestic sand dunes and the captivating surrounding landscapes. As the night sets in, prepare yourself for a delightful Moroccan dinner served under the starlit sky next to the campfire. Late at night, the local nomad hosts will entertain you with their drums and enchanting local songs. You will spend the overnight in a Berber camp, and your stay includes comfortable bedding, dinner, and breakfast.

3^rd Day: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise, as the colors of the dunes and the interplay of shadows create an awe-inspiring sight. After enjoying breakfast, we will depart for Ouarzazate. Along the way, we will make a Stop in Erfoud, renowned for its fossilized marbles, where you will have the opportunity to visit a workshop dedicated to the production of marble fossils. Our journey will then take us to the Todra Gorges, an ideal location for leisurely walks and self-exploration. Following a lunch, we’ll drive through the Dades valley and the rose valley, making a final stop for a refreshing break. We will continue our journey through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm grove, until we reach Ouarzazate, famously known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”. You will spend the night in your hotel or riad, which includes; dinner and breakfast.

4^th Day: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech.

Today, our journey will commence with a short stop to allow for capturing some photographic shots of the Taourirt Kasbah. We will then drive for approximately 30 minutes to reach one of the oldest Berber villages and World UNESCO heritage site, the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which has been featured in many international movies such as “Game of thrones” and “Gladiator..” continuing our route, we will pass through  the Tizi n’ tichka Pass (2260m), traversing the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to admire panoramic bird’s-eye views and take breaks to relax. Finally, we will arrive in the vibrant red city of Marrakech.
