1st day: Fez – Merzouga.

The first day of a 7-day tour of Fez, Taroudant, Essaouira, and Marrakech will start at 8 am, with a trip to the middle Atlas’ famous cedar forest to see the Barbary apes of Azou. The tour will then continue to Midelt, the apple capital of Morocco, for lunch at the peak of the Ayachi Mountain. The day will involve a drive through the Tizi-N-Talghemt pass, the Ziz valley known for its palm trees, multiple Ksars and small villages, Errachidia, and Erfoud known for its fossils and date festival. The tour will culminate at the Bivouac in Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will be welcomed with a glass of Moroccan mint tea, enjoy a great moment observing the beauty of the place, have dinner while listening to Berber music, and spend the night in luxury camp.

2nd day: Merzouga – Todra Gorges.

It is recommended to wake up early if you want to see the sunrise in the Sahara desert or experience the magnificent scenery of the sun shadows on the dunes. After breakfast, you will ride camels to the hotel for a shower and preparation for the drive to Todra Gorges. The journey will take you through Erfoud, Tinejdad, Tinghir, with a stop for lunch. The road will offer stunning views and opportunities to take photos and have fun. You will arrive at the magnificent Todra Gorges for dinner and spend the night there.

3rd day: Todra Gorges – Zagora.

After breakfast, the tour will head south to Saghro Mountain and N’Qob village for lunch. The journey will continue to the Dar’a valley, Tansikht Ighrem, and ultimately Zagora. The road will offer beautiful views of the Daraa River, mountains, gardens, and Kasbahs. At the Bivouac, you will  have dinner in nomad tents.

4th day: Zagora – Ouarzazate.

Waking up early is recommended to see the stunning scenery of the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, the tour will drive to another part of the desert to Ouarzazate for the night. The journey will include a pass by the Iriqui Lake, mountains, fossils, and Foum Zguid where lunch will be taken. The tour will then head north beyond hills and palm tree oasis to Taznakht for dinner. Taznakht is a small Berber town famous for its gelims and rugs.

5th day: Ouarzazate-Taroudant.

The tour will drive about 35 km from Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which was built in the 11th century and was once a prior caravan route across the Sahara desert and Marrakesh. The Kasbah is located on a hill along the Ounila River, and despite some damage due to rainstorms and windstorms, it remains a famous site in Morocco. Only a few families, around five, still live around the Kasbah, while others have moved to a more modern village. The tour will then continue to check into a hotel in Taroudant.

6th day: Taroudant – Essaouira – marrakesh.

In Essaouira, you will have the opportunity to see the stunning Atlantic Ocean, with its wide beaches and ancient ramparts. You will also visit the famous and vibrant markets of Essaouira, known for its craftsmanship, such as argan oil, wooden boxes, and jewelry. Don’t miss out on the chance to try some fresh seafood, as Essaouira is known for its abundant seafood, from grilled sardines to spicy octopus. Finally, you will drive back to Marrakech before your departure.

7th day: marrakesh sightseeing.

Today, you’ll stay in Marrakesh. If there’s still time in the day, you can choose to explore the city and its famous landmarks such as the Jardin Majorelle, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the vibrant markets like the Jemaa el-Fnaa square before your departure to the airport.
