The highlight awaits in Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels over the Erg Chebbi dunes, experience Gnawa music in Khamlia, and spend a night in a desert camp. Your final day takes you through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains, passing cedar forests and Barbary apes, before arriving in the cultural capital, Fes.

Tour itinerary

1st day: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades valley.

Our agent goes get together you in Marrakech airport or your hotel within the morning for heading into Ouarzazat through the dramatic Tizi n tichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciate the sweetness of the landscape on the twisted road through the Berber villages. You’ll Get to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the biggest Kasbah in Morocco, a UNESCO historical site, have Lunch per its time in an exceedingly local restaurant On through the Road of the thousand Kasbahs . Stop at Kalaat Mgouna, known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May, and so still our hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.

2nd day: Dades valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga.

After breakfast within the hotel, repel through the valley to view the amazing rock formation, like monkey toes, and therefore the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul.

Leave the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and also the Todra valley. Watch the view of the traditional Berber mud villages overlooking the valley.

Within the afternoon you may mount your camels, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you’ll spend your first night in a very traditional Berber tent or luxury camp. Dinner is served within the tent where you’ll spend the night.

4th day: Merzouga – Ziz valley – Midelt – Fes.

You will get up early to look at the sunrise at the dunes before riding back to the hotel on the camels where you may have breakfast and shower. Then you’ll leave for Errachidia via Erfoud to the Ziz valley. Lunch is in Midelt. Thence you’ll go through the cedar woods at Azrou and also the Middle Atlas where you’ll see the Barbarian Apes before ending off tour at Fes.
