Atlantic & imperial cities
1st Day: Rabat – Asilah – Tangier.
Welcome to Morocco!! Meet your tour driver/guide at hotel or the airport of Rabat and pick you up for visiting the Hassan Tower and walking in the Kasbah of Oudaya. After there, Most of the road will be by the atlantic while traveling to Asillah city where you will have the chance to explore the city. It is known for most of the walls of the Medina are painted by many famous artists from all over the world and its annual festival of the art. Then, you’ll continue to Tangier, which is the gateway to Africa from Europe, you should take a tour in the city and explore the bustling medina, and enjoy the stunning views where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet.
2nd Day: Tangier– Chefchaouen.
Today, the trip will begin passing through the Rif and then arriving the pearl city of Chefchaouen, whose Berber name means ”horns”, perched beneath mountains of the Rif, where white Houses built over hills in shades of blue. You will spend the night at a local Riad/hotel.
3rd Day: Chefchaouen– Volubilis ruins – Meknes- Fes.
After tasty breakfast, your journey continues towards Volubilis, where you will explore the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history.
Then, continuing to Meknes, you’ll stop for lunch and discover the historical walls of the medina along with Bab el Mansour, and you’ll visit the Moulay Ismail shrine. On the afternoon, you are going to head to Fes where you’ll spend the night at riad(hotel).
4th Day: Exploring Fes.
full day sightseeing in Fes, a guide will accompany you from your hotel to discover the oldest imperial city of Fes; Visit of the mellah (Jewish quarter) the oldest of the Imperial Cities, founded in 790 A.D. and visit the Karaouiyne Mosque – the first university the world- , whose central aisle is embellished with elaborate floral and Kufic script carved into the plaster; and the colorfully tiled Nejjarine Fountain. And don’t miss the fascinating Islamic universities, including the El bou Anania and the Attarine. Finally, wander the souks (markets) of Fes, the most fascinating in all of Morocco.
5th Day: Fes – Casablanca.
In the morning, you will leave Fes to the coastal city of Casablanca. You’ll have a visit of sightseeing; stroll the Habous district, United Nations square and the majestic Mohammed V square. Then, visit the famous Hassan II Mosque. Finally, Transfer to your hotel or the airport according to your flight departure time.
