You will Begin in Tangier and delve into the blue pearl charm of Chefchaouen. In the second stage of the tour, you will go to explore ancient Roman ruins in Volubilis and imperial city, Meknes.
Next, immerse yourself in the labyrinths of Fez alleys before your venture through Ifrane, Cedars forest of Azrou and Traverse the changing landscapes from Midelt to Ziz Valley, which flows towards the desert, Arrival in the Merzouga desert. Then, discover the cultural richness of Rissani town, and continue to the dramatic Todgha Gorges, and the rugged beauty of the Dades Valley.
In the last stage of the journey, you will admire the Kasbah of Taourirt, the movie studios in Ouarzazate and the historic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs. Finally, your journey will conclude in the splendid city of Marrakech.
Itinerary of 5 days tour from Tangier
1st Day: Arrival to Tangier- Tetouan- Chefchaouen.
Today, you will arrive in Tangier and we pick you up from your accommodation, the airport or the port in the northwest city where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea off cape Spartel. Firstly, you will explore the cave of Hercules and also the cape Spartel.
Then, you’ll drive to chefchaouen by passing through the city of Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Stop for panoramic views. Spend Tonight in Chefchaouen.
2nd Day: Chefchaouen- Volubilis Roman ruins- Meknes- Fes.
In morning, feel free to stroll in the attractive alleyways of the blue city Chefchaouen. Then, you will go to the Roman ruins volubilis. Where is well preserved, as it is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site. After there, you are going to visit one of the imperial cities, meknes. Includes; Bab Al-mansour, sahrij souani basin, the granary and the moulay ismail Mausoleum. Thereafter, you head to Fes. Spend the night in a Riad.
3rd Day: Fes- Ifrane- Cedars forest of Azrou- Midelt- Ziz valley- Merzouga desert.
After breakfast, you’ll drive to the southeast through Imouzzer and Ifrane. The city is known for its architecture houses like and its. There is low temperature; it is often snowing in the winter. It is called the Switzerland of Morocco.
Then, you continue to cedars forest in Azrou area, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. Later, we continue to midelt, where we will have a free time for lunch.
Next, you’ll pass through the Tizi-n-talghmt and the ziz valley. Have stops for panoramic views.
Finally, you reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you’ll ride camels and cross the sandy desert for enjoying the sunset on the top of dunes. Then, continuing to the camp which is a combination of traditional tents of nomads and the luxury a hotel.
You can enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under vast open sky of stars.
4th Day: Merzouga- Rissani- Arfoud- Todgha Gorges- Dades Valley.
Waking up early in the morning is essential to witness the breathtaking sunrise. Following that, there's a breakfast time. You then leave from the desert into Rissani town. which holds the historical significance of being the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a prominent hub for trade in the region. Its bustling souk comes alive on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After enjoying a walk through the vibrant Rissani souk, you'll move forward to Erfoud. Here, you have the opportunity to visit a workshop specializing in fossilized marble.
Continuing your journey, you pass through the palm groves en route to the Todghra Gorges. This towering canyon, with its red cliffs, is a popular destination for rock climbers. Feel free to explore the gorges and immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape. A lunch break awaits you at a local restaurant.
Your adventure persists as we make our way to the Dades Valley via Boumalne. Along the way, you'll stop at the "monkey fingers" rock formation. It’s providing a panoramic view of the Dades Valley. As the day winds down, we conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel.
5th Day: Dades Valley- Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs- high atlas mountains- Marrakech.
On this last day of the 5-day tour, you will travel to the Dades Valley, Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. The route via Dades Valley is named, “the 1000 Kasbahs way”. It is famed for its roses and the cinema studios of Ouarzazate “Hollywood of Morocco”. You will pass by Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. During the beginning of the 20th Century, now it is a UNESCO heritage site.
You'll finish your trip in Marrakech city after passing by the 2 260 m pass “Tizi-N-Tichka” of Atlas Mountains.
Along the way, you will pass many attractive Berber villages till Marrakech city.
